Cod & Haddock Slow Pitch Jigging

Capt. Mike Hogan & Capt. Rob Lowell showcases techniques for slow-pitch style jigging Cod and Haddock off Stellwagen Bank using the new Hogy Flutter Pitch Jig & Diesel Mack Sabiki Rig.

Step 1: Deploy Flutter Pitch Jig + Diesel Mack Rig combo to the bottom.

Step 2: Simply lift and drop the jig 3-5' from the bottom, allowing the jig to bounce on the bottom every 3-4 lifts.

Step 3: Once you feel a hookup, set the hook, but allow a few seconds for the diesel mack rig to attract additional cod and haddock for multiple fish per drop!
